Encanto is a movie based on the popular animated series of the same name, produced by Salvador Dali. It was released in Spain on November 8, 1992.
It is a love story between a young boy named Juan and María del Alta, an older woman who teaches him how to read, write, and speak. It is told from the boy's perspective, and the events in the film take place in the town of Encanto, in the province of Cádiz.
Encanto is the second film in the series, following the first one, Encanto: A Story of Enchantment. It was followed by two sequels, Delicatessen and Hamster.
